Tollefson Arbitration and Mediation Services (TAMS)

I am committed to resolving disputes to reach a just and proper resolution on every case using my nearly 50 years of legal and judicial experience to its fullest. Client confidentiality is paramount.
Use of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods such as mediation and arbitration for resolving disputes is growing in popularity and for good reason.

The advantages are numerous:

Mediation is voluntary, confidential, non-binding (unless a settlement is reached), usually informal, and provides the parties a safe space to work on resolution.
Arbitration is voluntary, mostly private, but the result is usually binding and enforceable in court.
In both cases, most of the process, and even part of the outcome, will not be in the public record.
Both Mediation and Arbitration can be faster, and often provide more immediate solutions than a trial.
